Belgium allows its citizens to choose the religion that they want to follow, this is called freedom of religion. The majority of the people that are religious in Belgium affiliate with the Roman Catholic church. In addition, 25% of the country does not identify with any particular religion. There are small numbers of people who are atheists, non-christian Catholics, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists that make up the remainder of the country. |
